OCPL Celebrates International Games Week

Nov 08, 2020

The Oldham County Public Library will join over a thousand libraries around the world during International Games Week as they transform their libraries with play. This year, the games have moved online, but you can still experience the joy of gaming in special interactive formats.

In addition to special programs, the Library will also be giving away copies of Mint Cooperative (from Five24 Labs) while supplies last. You can pick up your printed copy of the game cards, rules, and a box of mints to use for the game at any library branch starting Wednesday, November 11th.

International Games Week is an international initiative supported by the American Library Association, the Australian Library and Information Association, Nordic Game Week, Finnish Game Week and L’Associazione Italiana Biblioteche. For more information on International Games Week please visit the Games in Libraries blog http://games.ala.org.
