Due to new regulations to limit the spread of COVID-19, all locations of the Oldham County Public Library will be moving to curbside and drive-thru service only beginning November 21st. Regular in-person hours may resume at such a time as regulations are lifted. During this time, appointments may be made for individual use of public computers, printers, and notary services. Call the location of choice to make an appointment.
Drive-thru and curbside hours are Monday- Tuesday 1-7pm, Wednesday- Thursday 10am-7pm, Friday 10am-5pm, and Saturday 10am-2pm.
In accordance with other county buildings and the Governor’s executive orders, everyone who enters the building for individual computer appointments or other services is required to wear a mask (per CDC guidelines, children under 2 should not wear masks). If you do not have a mask, one will be provided.
All patrons are also encouraged to take advantage of OCPL’s many digital offerings, such as ebooks and audiobooks available through Kentucky Libraries Unbound, RBDigital, and the free online education available through Universal Class. Please note: the Overdrive checkout limit has temporarily been increased to 20 items at a time.
Library staff will be posting regular updates to our social media with activities for families, digital services highlights, and announcements. You can follow us on facebook, twitter, or instagram. If you are looking for assistance with library digital services, you may call the library during business hours to speak to a librarian, or email firstname.lastname@example.org for assistance.
