The Adult Summer Reading Program is for everyone ages 18 and up. It's easy to participate- just read! Everything you read this summer can count towards prizes. Whether it's a book, a newspaper, a magazine, or bedtime stories read to your child, you can submit it for a chance at a random drawing for the prize of your choice. When you submit your reading in-person at your local library, you can pick a gift from the Adult Prize Chest! If you can't make it into the library, you can still submit online for chances at end of summer prizes. Each entry you submit will let you choose which prize drawing you want your submission to be counted towards! Prizes include: iPad Mini; Galaxy tablet; Nintendo Switch; Oculus Quest 2; InstantPot Duo; Brother Sewing Machine; Bob Ross Painting kit; board games; and more!
You can also stop by your local library to pick up a special reading log notebook to keep track of your reading all summer long (while supplies last).
Want a bit more of challenge? Try the Summer Reading Program Bingo sheet! Use the prompts to find books that fit the category and then write the title in for what you've read. Once you have a bingo, turn your sheet into your local library and claim your prize- an exclusive pair of custom library socks! Because reading will always put you in good standing, and you can show off your library pride wherever you go. Don't forget- you can count the books you read for bingo as entries in the regular program as well!
There are programs for Adults all summer long. To see event listings and registration, visit the Programs & Events page.
