Adult Writers Group: Every other Saturday, 10am

Are you a writer, and aspiring writer, or just interested in the process of writing? Join the Adult Writers Group for bi-weekly prompts, tips, discussion, and peer review. The group meets every other Saturday at 10am through zoom. All levels of experience are welcome! Check the library calendar to see the current schedule of meetings, and email if you'd like to be added to the mailing list for invites to the virtual meetings.

Book Bingo: Monthly, Fridays 10am, Tuesdays 7pm

Play bingo and learn about books! This programs brings bingo fun to a virtual setting. Book Bingo is just like regular bingo, but instead of numbers, you are checking off book titles. When the caller draws the title, you'll also get a brief book talk about it. It's the perfect way to fill up your reading shelf with new book ideas! 

Dungeons & Bookworms

Dungeons & Bookworms is OCPL's RPG (Role Playing Game) group for adults. Groups meet a few times a month for regular campaigns (currently Pathfinder and D&D 5e). No experience is needed, just a sense of adventure! If a regular campaign doesn't fit your schedule, one-shots are also offered on a periodic basis. Monthly Virtual Crafting Programs, Thursdays, 6:30pm

Sign up for this crafting program and pick up your supplies from the library! Then, join in a virtual meeting to talk with other crafters, learn how to make your craft, and share your successes.

Page Folders

Have you ever wondered how people make art out of re-purposed books? You can learn how to transform an old book into something new just by folding it! First-time folders should always start with our Beginners class, which meets the first Friday of the month, 9:30am. Experienced folders meet on the third Friday of the month at 9:30am to create a new project and gather with other Page Folders. Both classes are held at the South Library, in-person. Book Clubs

Breakfast Bookclub: Monthly meetings, Thursdays at 10:30am

For the morning, crowd, the Breakfast Bookclub meets monthly to discuss books picked from across all genres. Sign up for a copy of the latest book and details about the current meeting.

Flashlight Readers: Monthly meetings, Tuesdays at 6:30pm

This evening book club reads a variety of genres. Sign up for a copy of the book and then join for lively discussion online!

Mystery Society: Monthly meetings, Fridays at 10am

If you are into all things mysterious, then this is the book club for you! Each month read a different mystery book, enjoy detailed discussion, and solve puzzles based on the book.
