Oldham County Public Library Closed

Effective immediately, all locations of the Oldham County Public Library will be closed until it is deemed safe to reopen.

Due to the continued health threat of COVID-19, the Oldham County Public Library buildings are closed to public access in an effort to help limit exposure of staff and patrons to contagion.

This decision was made following revaluation of library resources and infrastructure to best maintain the health and safety of the community. No fines or fees will be accrued on any materials checked out during this time. We ask that patrons hold on to their materials until the library reopens.

All patrons are also encouraged to take advantage of OCPL’s many digital offerings, such as ebooks and audiobooks available through Kentucky Libraries Unbound, RBDigital, and the free online education available through Universal Class. Please note: the Overdrive checkout limit has temporarily been increased to 15 items at a time.

Library staff will be posting regular updates to our social media with activities for families, digital services highlights, and announcements. You can follow us on facebook, twitter, or instagram.
